New Year - New Start, that's what I say. Went to my slimming class tonight and I had put on a staggering 6-and-a-half pounds. I had expected this though as I had thought "sod it" over Christmas and New Year. I have to look at it this way - I'm still 3 stone lighter than I was in June 2010. Time to knuckle down and lose that last stone. On a plus side I wasn't the only one not to lose. Out of a class of 16 (who stayed after weigh in) only 1 person lost over the last two weeks.

Oh dear, Christmas has caught up with me. With 5 days until my first weigh in of the New Year at SLimming World I got my self weighed at the chemists and I have gained three-and-a-half pounds. Still time to lose it but not fussed if I don't to be honest as it is Christmas after all. Happy New Year to you all and don't get too drunk!!!

Well, after a long Hiatus due to pregnancy, I am back on the slimming train. Last June I weighed in at 17st 11 1/2 pounds and last week was weighing in at 14st 4 1/2 pounds, so exactly 3 1/2 stone loss in all. Having no car and a new baby in the house certainly helps with the exercising. It may only be a 10 minute walk to the school to pick the 2 older children up but it's uphill on the way. The town centre is 20 minutes away so a round trip there takes 40 minutes. Happy reading all and hope to write again soon.

Well, this evening I went to my slimming world class and I had a 1 1/2 pound gain. Instead of thinking of it as a failure in my diet I really need to think of it as a push to work harder. I really know what prompted this gain and it was seriously bad case of finding the chocolate spread and peanut butter in the cupboard. Its now been put back firmly in the back of the cupboard along with the bread which I really don't think is good for my diet. Here's to another week and hopefully losing that pound and a half.

Well, hubby is finally catching on to the fitness thing with me. Since starting my diet I have really taken to cycling. I go cycling with Cycle Harlow every Saturday afternoon and can see the difference in my fitness already. I had a half day off on Friday so while the kids were at school my hubby and I decided to go for a ride together. We managed 7 miles despite me getting a puncture. On the Saturday I went out as usual with Cycle Harlow and my god!! did they work us. All in all we done a 16 mile ride and my 7 year old daughter managed the whole thing as well. I am so proud of her for sticking with me the whole time.
